Deb Strainge
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Deb coordinates the day-to-day operations of the parish, working closely with staff and volunteers to ensure that our facilities, systems, administrative support, and retail endeavors serve the mission of the church with clarity and excellence.
Deb is an experienced administrator with over two decades of leadership experience in schools and churches. Originally from Massachusetts, Deb moved to Florida in 2016 to serve as Head of School at St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Palm Beach Gardens, where she served for eight years. Prior to this, Deb served as the Head of Lower School at Tower School in Marblehead, MA, and as Senior Warden at Trinity Episcopal Church in Topsfield, MA.
Deb, who holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education, is known to many at Bethesda through her work over the past two years as our part-time Sunday School Director. Deb has discerned a call to return to full-time leadership, and I am delighted she will continue her ministry among us in this new role.
On a personal level, Deb and her husband Bryan love spending time with their children and granddaughter. In addition to loving all things Disney, she also enjoys learning about wine and holds an introductory sommelier credential.
