There are many opportunities for spiritual growth at Bethesda. First and foremost are our worship services. We have prayer groups, and numerous classes which encourage us to learn and grow in our faith. At least twice a year we offer a Spiritual Weekend, led by gifted men and women of prayer and deep spirituality. In past weekends, we have offered workshops by The Rev. Nancy Roth, in Christian Yoga and Body Prayer; The Rt. Rev. Steven Charleston, on "The Meaning of Life"; The Rev. Martin Smith, on "Who is Jesus?" and The Rev. Herbert O'Driscoll, on Pilgrimage.

Our next Spiritual Weekend is December 5-7, 2008. The leader will be announced soon. Mark your calendars!

We also offer opportunities to join in making pilgrimages. This year, May 14-27, we are journeying to the Holy Islands of Lindisfarne and Iona, to rediscover our roots in Celtic Christianity. We have a few spaces left. Call Pastor Lynne Jones if you would like to join us.
