The Mission of the Faith in Action Committee of Bethesda-by-the-Sea is to assist, with the Grace of God, our parishioners, and others to fulfill the Second Great Commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. Over 700 people have put their "Faith into Action" in the past several of years in a variety of ways by donating their time, talent, and treasure to our many on going projects. Faith in Action activities are "hands on" ministries in which we welcome, invite, and encourage people of all ages to participate. The work of this group has really grown over the last few years. Outreach has always been an important part of the lives of our generous parishioners, but this group has taken the work to a new level. Everyone is welcome!

* Feeding Programs at St. Georges Church in Riviera Beach the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and Friday morning sandwich making
* Local missions to the Glades Area offering food, clothing, and Christmas gifts
* Building homes for Habitat for Humanity
* Mission Trips to Our Little Roses home for girls in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
* Building homes for orphans, widows, and clergy in Burundi, Africa for those who have suffered from the Aids Pandemic
* Lenten Food and Tote drive
