The Mission of the Faith in Action Committee of Bethesda by the Sea is to assist, with the Grace of God, our parishioners and others to fulfill the Second Great Commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. Over 700 people have put their "Faith into Action" in the past couple of years, in a variety of ways, donating time, talent and treasure to our many on going projects. Faith in Action activities are "hands on" ministries in which we welcome, invite and encourage people of all ages to participate in. The work of this group has really grown over the last few years. Outreach has always been an important part of the lives of our generous parishioners, but this group has taken the work to a new level.

* Feeding Programs at St. Georges Church in Riviera Beach. 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and Friday morning sandwich making
* Relief and rebuilding efforts for our adopted church, St. Marks in Gulfport, Mississippi which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
* Local missions to the Glades Area offering food, clothing and Christmas gifts.

We appreciate all of our volunteers who work so diligently to help make our world a better place to live. Come , join us and put your "Faith into Action."
