This course is designed to prepare adults:
For Confirmation if they have never been confirmed by a Bishop in Apostolic Succession.
For Reception as members into the Episcopal Church if they have previously been confirmed by a Bishop in another Christian denomination.
For Reaffirmation of their Baptismal vows if they have been previously baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church.
The course will survey the faith and worship of the Episcopal Church from early Church to today and explore meaningful ways in which the Christian faith may be expressed by adults in a contemporary setting.

| Explore the Biblical texts for Sunday with the scheduled preacher. Learn the historical and critical background of the text. Discuss what you think the Scripture is saying. Suggest what you think should be included in the sermon. This Bible study provides you with an opportunity to have your say and, perhaps, help shape each Sunday's sermon. Immediately following are a communion service at 8:00 and a light breakfast. No registration is necessary.

Judy Taylors extensive experience is that of a resource teacher and guidance counselor in the county schools, teacher of parenting classes for 12 years and life-long Episcopalian.

| These three lectures will address the coming of Christianity and university caliber studies to Britian. These lectures will center on the monastic houses at Iona and Lindisfarne and on the Venerable Bede. There will be slies of monestaries and elaborate Celtic manuscripts, including the Book of Durrow and Kells and the Lindisfarne Gospels.

| Heaven Belongs to Everyone |

| Mr. Soter will discuss his book in two parts. The first part will be various issues in religion: the ordination of women, whether attendance at corporate worship is important, the similarities and diddimilarities between the three religions of Abraham. The second part addresses the crucial matter of the separation between church and state as mandated by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Mr. Soter's book is available in the Bethesda Bookshop.
